Abwasserverband Gleisdorfer Becken (AWV Gleisdorf) is the waste water treatment plant operator for 32,000 population equivalents for 7 municipalities in Styria in the region of Weiz. It is situated south of Gleisdorf.

It has participated in a number of research projects in the aim to apply new technologies and concepts for better energy efficiency.
