In the framework of the 6th Central European Biomass Conference CEBC 2020 the demonstrator Leibnitz was presented. An excursion to the heating plant in Leibnitz was organised and presented by Dr. Wolfgang Horn, Green Energy Lab and ThermaFLEX project partner. He drew a positive conclusion: “This year, the conference clearly felt the “fresh wind” from the government programme 2020-24. The ThermaFLEX project Leibnitz sets new standards for the urban heat turnaround in Small Smart Cities. Especially now, when the transformation in the area of space heating is getting a tail wind, this demonstrator in Leibnitz can develop a special role model effect through its multiplicability”.
